Daylight savings is this weekend, which means longer, warmer days are just around the corner. And though the bloom of spring 2021 will look different from years’s past, this season still feels optimistic as vaccine rollouts continue around the country.
According to the CDC, easing back into post-pandemic life means baby steps. Think: finally reuniting with family members and maybe even hosting them with the celebratory tablescape and recipe you’ve perfected over the past year. Or, imagine getting dressed up to go out, not in, wearing pretty lightweight knits that will keep you in a Goldilock-zone throughout spring’s unpredictable weather.
In preparation for this new era, we’re simultaneously readying ourselves for re-emergence (shopping for new clothes) and managing our expectations should we need to burrow inside for just a little longer (sprucing up our interiors). We’ll continue to put energy into making our homes more enticing with plants or a new record player and we’ll likely still be keen on workout gear that ensures we stay moving (and sane!) in each day. But, we’ll also be looking ahead. To help us spring forward this weekend, we’ve pulled 100 items under $100 that spark joy for us, and hopefully for you, too.
