In the latest episode of 7 Days, 7 Looks, Hungarian supermodel Barbara Palvin walks Vogue through a week in her wardrobe. Some of her go-tos include a structured suit by Magda Butrym that makes her look “smart, confident, and ready for the job” as she heads out to meetings. Palvin will also throw one of her boyfriend Dylan Sprouse’s oversized jackets on top of low-rise pants and a crop top. On date night, Palvin explains what to look for in the perfect body-con dress, opting for a slinky ankle-length iteration from Christopher Esber that makes her feel confident now that she’s learned to embrace her body’s curves. “The fact that I went from hiding my curves to highlighting them and showing them off is a great thing,” Palvin says. Here, watch everything the supermodel wears in a week.
Monday: The Meetings Look
To kick off the week, Palvin opts for Polish designer Magda Butrym’s pinstripe suit and a pair of heeled boots by ByFar and Mimi Cuttrell. “When you wear high heels, your whole posture changes,” the model explains. Even when she shoots images from the waist-up, she’ll don heels, “I like to have a little lift.”
Tuesday: The Hungary v.s. L.A. Look
How the supermodel dresses in Hungary differs from when she’s in Los Angeles. “Most of the time when I’m in Hungary, I just stay in the house,” she explains in a cropped knit T-shirt, paper bag waist trousers, and one of her grandmother’s favorite cardigans. In Los Angeles, Palvin likes to dress up, play with colors, and “also make a statement,” she says, wearing an Attico mini skirt paired with boots, a cropped sweater, and a blazer by Versace.
Wednesday: The Date Night Look
“Dylan is a lucky man!” the model says and then laughs. For date night, Palvin opts for a slashed, slinky black dress by Christopher Esber. “To be honest, I just recently started wearing tight clothes,” she says. “I’ve been in the industry for 15 or 16 years, and it was a little harsher back in the day, but now I see the industry going in such a beautiful direction… The fact that I went from hiding my curves to literally highlighting them and showing them off is a great thing. Past me would be proud of future me.”
Thursday: The Breaking Ground Look
“Dylan and I had a series on Instagram showing the journey of a young couple buying land and eventually building a house,” the model explains. Her Thursday look, comprised of low-rise baggy jeans, a cropped tank, a shearling coat, and walkable boots gets “a little bit of inspiration from a lumberjack,” she jokes. “Because then building a house would be much easier for sure.”
Friday: The Running Errands in L.A. Look
“Wherever you meet me or see me, you’ll definitely see me in some low-waist baggy pants,” the model says. For errands, Palvin likes to wear walkable boots and a pair of baggy pants worn with a crop top and an oversized jacket on top.
Saturday: The Borrowed From Her Boy Look
For Saturday’s look, Palvin finishes her low-rise printed jeans and cropped top combo with another oversized jacket—this time it’s her boyfriend Dylan’s nylon Prada jacket. “This is how my addiction started. I would always go out to dinner with Dylan… By the end of the night, I would be freezing, so he would give me his jacket. Now I can’t go out without his jacket.”
Sunday: The Jet Setting Look
“When I look for my perfect jetfit, I always look for something comfortable,” the model says. Opting for a sweatsuit by Jessie Jo Stark and comfortable boots by The Attico, Palvin also offers a lesson in layering by pairing a Black Camilla and Marc button up on top of a white The Attico button up.
