Synonymous with long, blonde, Rapunzel-like hair, it came as a surprise–albeit, a fantastic one–when Gigi Hadid chopped it all off in favor of a beachy bob. Hairstylist Chris McMillan (who is also the man behind Jennifer Aniston’s famous hair) had the honor, and we’ve been keeping tabs on how she’s wearing the look ever since.

Tousled and beachy, Hadid’s new style is perfectly cut to flatter her face shape–sitting a couple of inches beneath her jawline, it helps elongate and draw attention to her striking features.
