The approach to BAFTA dressing was strong and sexy with few frills but a lot of confidence. And while our favorite reliably stylish nominees—Cate! Lupita!—did not disappoint, it was the chic plus-ones who were the surprise hits of the evening, with Sheherazade Goldsmith looking regal at **Alfonso Cuarón’**s side, and of course, Angelina Jolie, whose morning-after Saint Laurent tuxedo said, “I’m not nominated, but I sure am fabulous.”
