Beyoncé and Jay Z are known to be vegan curious. Before Coachella last year, Beyoncé adopted a plant-based diet—and posted a homemade avocado-toast on social media to prove it. A few years back, the couple launched a vegan meal service, 22 Days Nutrition, alongside their personal trainer, Marco Borges. Now, they’re trying to give the lifestyle a bigger platform.

Today on her Instagram, Beyoncé posted a graphic for the Greenprint Project. Greenprint aims to inspire others to incorporate full, or partial veganism into their daily routines. (Some options? Meatless Mondays, or having a meat-free meal once or twice a day.) And, if you stick to it, you can enter a sweepstakes where the grand prize is free Beyoncé and Jay Z tickets for life. (Okay, fine, maximum 30 years according to the Official Rules. But still!)

You won’t be doing it alone, either. In a statement, the couple said that they, too, will be cutting out meat. They cited the importance of veganism’s carbon-cutting effects: “The information is hard to ignore. The benefits of a single plant-based meal a day can have such a profound impact on our health and the environment, spanning from cutting carbon emissions to conserving water. We want to challenge you as we challenge ourselves to move towards a more plant-based lifestyle.”

So, would you go vegan for Jay Z and Beyonce? Twitter had some thoughts. (As always.)

Even if you aren’t part of the Beyhive, the benefits of a predominantly plant-based diet are hard to dismiss. On an individual level: According to the Mayo Clinic, “people who don t eat meat—vegetarians—generally eat fewer calories and less fat, weigh less, and have a lower risk of heart disease than non-vegetarians do.” And also on a global one: In October, the UN s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said eating less meat reduces greenhouse gasses and prevent deforestation. So do it for you, or the world, or because Beyoncé and Jay Z told you to.
