Chadwick Boseman’s Rolling Stone cover sent the Internet into a frenzy on Sunday, and rightly so—the Black Panther leading man posed shirtless on the front of the magazine, photographed by Norman Jean Roy, while the film’s opening weekend smashed box office records. The drama of the black-and-white cover shoot was matched only by the fainting, freaking, and fawning response to it on Twitter, where fans simply could not take it. It was the second time in just as many days that Boseman caused a Black Panther panic: On Saturday night at the NBA All-Star Game, Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo dunked while wearing a Black Panther mask, which he got from the Black Panther himself, aka Boseman, sitting on the sidelines.
