Every year, we at Vogue Runway look through literally thousands of runway images, multiple times a year. It is through detail shots that you can really discover the best bits of the collections, especially when you weren t able to attend the shows in person—although even if you did, there’s always something new to discover! You can zoom-in on Dilara Findikoglu’s intricately embellished bodice and get lost in its construction in a way that even if you were sitting front row you would’ve never had the chance to truly appreciate. My favorite detail photographs though, are the ones that become almost abstracted images, where maybe the body gets lost and all that remains is a shape, a color, a texture. As a post-holiday treat, I’ve gone through all of 2025’s runway images one last time, and picked out the funnest, coolest, most awe-inspiring images. Consider it a bit of visual ASMR.
