Demi Moore has been the queen of long, waist-skimming hair since…well, basically since she shaved her head for 1997’s G.I. Jane. Clearly, her track record proves she’s not afraid to transform herself for a role—though the look for Paramount+’s upcoming show Landman is a lot less extreme than a buzz cut.
Costarring John Hamm, the series is based on the podcast Boomtown and takes place in West Texas. Moore plays Cami Miller, a Southern mother and the wife of Hamm’s character. To fully embody the role, Moore was given a lob (a.k.a. long bob) styled with tons of volume in large barrel curls. As somebody who grew up in Texas myself, it’s a look I’m familiar with—and I can’t wait to see what other Southern beauty hallmarks she touches upon during the season. After all, the higher the hair….
