Vogue’s 2023 Open Casting Finalist Rania Benchegra Appears in London’s Hottest Show—Vogue World: London

Rania Benchegra might not be a familiar face yet, but as a finalist in Vogue’s first-ever Open Casting, class of 2023, she’ll soon be one to remember. While there were many exciting debuts and shows during the spring 2024 season, one of the hottest tickets on the calendar had to be Vogue World: London. The second annual event, which took place at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on September 14, included performances from Stormzy, FKA Twigs, and Damian Lewis and brought in a top-level class of supermodels from the originals to the next generation.

In this “Diary of a Model” episode, Benchegra shows what went into her morning routine in preparation for the big event. Like others before her, she loves an ice facial to de-puff and wake up. Skin care prep is always a crucial part of getting ready before heading backstage, as is a hearty breakfast: This Moroccan model carries cumin everywhere, and eating it on hard-boiled eggs with some salt is her favorite way to use it.

“Say yes” is one of the mottoes Benchegra lives by, and that’s how she ended up in London. She found out about the casting call from a friend and thought it was the perfect opportunity. “It’s for Vogue. This is the perfect exposure for any model,” she said. Another piece of advice she has is to always believe in yourself. It’s certainly worked for her. Watch below as Rania Benchegra gets ready for Vogue World: London.
