We are excited to unveil the 100 outstanding artists shortlisted for the PhotoVogue global open call, “The Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature.” This year, with submissions exceeding 44,000 images from every corner of the world, we’ve seen an overwhelming array of talent and creativity, reinforcing our commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse artistic community. Selecting these 100 artists from such a vast pool was a challenging yet inspiring task.
Their exceptional works will be showcased in a slideshow at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan at Base from March 6th to 9th, 2025.
This open call has been a testament to the varied interpretations of our relationship with animals and nature, a theme explored with striking originality by artists globally. Witnessing the diverse ways in which artists express these connections has been incredibly fulfilling. The selected works invite us to rethink our perceptions of nature, encouraging a broader understanding and deeper emotional engagement. Some pieces will evoke laughter, others tears, and many will prompt thoughtful reflection on our place within the natural world.
