Dua Lipa is having a year of hair transformations. First, the pop star went cobalt blue as Mermaid Barbie for this summer s blockbuster hit. Then there were her new bangs (which coordinated with a relationship confirmation) at Cannes. Now, she s been transformed into a golden blonde with bangs for the meta spy film Argylle, which comes out in February of next year.
This isn t the first time we ve seen Dua with either short or blonde hair—during her Future Nostalgia era the singer rocked a two-tone dye job a la Debbie Harry and then there was that show-stopping Donatella Versace moment at the 2022 VMAs. And while her thick, dark hair has been past her shoulders for a minute, she s had a bob a few times in the past.
We re assuming that much like her Mermaid Barbie transformation, this blonde hair transformation is a wig. Perhaps it s just one of her many disguises as a bombshell spy for the film? Guess we will have to wait until February to find out.
