Brigitte Macron may have deviated from her signature look in a white Louis Vuitton dinner jacket and cigarette pants at last night s post-NATO summit dinner, but earlier today, the French First Lady returned to her Nicolas Ghesquiere-designed go-to: the mod A-line mini-dress with exposed hardware.
This time, the look was reworked in breathable summer fabric in a soft shade of grey. The dress had darts lent a figure-flattering touch, while a motocross collar was left open and zipper slightly undone. Gold hardware provided an elevated contrast, while suede pumps further lengthened the First Lady s famous legs. And an LV City Steamer bag, with chevron leather and suede panels that picked up on the dress s palette, was the perfect punctuation.
