The biggest trend at the 2024 Met Gala was perhaps the least surprising, but it certainly brought some range. Florals dominated the green carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We saw them on the headpiece Zendaya wore alongside her archival Givenchy for John Galliano, we saw them in little baskets carried by Cole Escola and Tessa Thompson, and we saw them protruding from Nicki Minaj’s Marni look and cascading over Cynthia Erivo’s Thom Browne skirt suit.
Demi Moore became a bouquet in Harris Reed, while Ashley Graham and Rauw Alejandro both donned Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s chainmail interpretation of Robert Mapplethorpe’s floral still life photographs. Scroll through to find the best floral looks from the 2024 Met Gala red carpet.
