Gigi Hadid is out to revamp your holiday party beauty routine—just in time for the annual onslaught of seasonal events. For last night s CMA Awards red carpet, the supermodel opted for a gilded approach, lids partially pressed in a saturated gold. Dreamed up by makeup artist Patrick Ta, the lit-up look began at the eyes inner corners, yellow-gold inching halfway across the lid before giving way to a sharp and graphic onyx cat-eye.
Hadid furthered the glow factor with a warm dusting of peachy blush that played up her overlined nude lip and appropriately aureate earrings. An Oly Hollywood blowout, parted to one side, finished the look, Hadid s baby blonde hair swinging in soft waves that reached her waist. The overall aesthetic echoed this week s penchant for all things glowing (an extra ounce of glamour is always welcome throughout the year s last lap). A bonus? With Ta s treatment, there s no need to choose between a metallic lid and a flick of liner—the eye-catching, eye-level elements are stronger together.
