For most, Grecian day dreams center on palettes of rich cobalt blues, bright whites, and sandy taupes. But for Gigi Hadid, a Mediterranean holiday is simply another excuse to step outside the beauty box—this time with a striking application of neon pink at eye level.
Makeup artist Patrick Ta shared a behind-the-scenes capture of the super s latest look, which took its cues from her vivid, bubble gum-colored evening dress. While roseate-turned-neoprene pink may not scream summer at first blush, a second glance solidifies it as the ideal scene-stealing seasonal hue—after all, the psychedelic accent is nothing if not playful, its warming tone further accentuating a bronzed complexion achieved from time spent under the the sun. Even better: Ta refused to keep the color within confines, instead allowing the pressing of pink to diffuse freely, coated over lids and edged beneath the lower lashline, before extending into a hazy wing. The lesson? To take your wash of bronzer up a notch, reach for pots of color bright enough to outshine even the most radiant rays.
