Astrid Sterner de Leon is an artist born in Madrid, Spain. She was accepted in 2010 at Central Saint Martins Art School in London, where she experimented in Documentary and Fine Art Photography and Film. Later she moved to New York, a beacon of inspiration for her where every corner told a story. Astrid lives now between Madrid and New York and is drawn to challenge societal norms and provoke thought in her work. She especially relates to empowering women and to the shared mission to protect and restore our planet.
