Awards season is in full swing now: After last weekend’s Golden Globes littered the likes of Oppenheimer, Poor Things, Succession, The Bear, and Beef with trophies, this Sunday brings the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, voted upon by—you guessed it!—a group of television, radio, and online critics. Below, find everything you need to know about this year’s ceremony.

When are the 2024 Critics Choice Awards?

The 29th Critics Choice Awards are set for Sunday, January 14 at Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hangar.

How can I watch the Critics Choice Awards?

The ceremony airs live on the CW at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Cord-cutters can stream the proceedings online via platforms like DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, Fubo TV, or Hulu + Live TV.

Who is hosting the Critics Choice Awards?

For the second consecutive year, comedian Chelsea Handler will emcee the Critics Choice ceremony. “I am very happy and excited to be hosting the Critics Choice Awards again this year, as last year was one of the most fun nights I’ve had,” Handler said in a statement last month. “There is no greater reward than making fun of actors and then getting drunk with them afterward. It’s an honor.”
