Fashion girl Jennifer Lawrence is serving up fashion inspiration once again. Tonight, the Die My Love star attended the 2026 Golden Globes in something daring and sexy—a sheer dress from Sarah Burton’s Givenchy.
While Lawrence’s everyday street style may lean more on the quiet luxury end, the red carpet is an entirely different matter. This isn’t the first time she’s gone sheer (or Givenchy!) on the red carpet—two year’s ago the star wore an archival Givenchy fall 1996 couture look designed by John Galliano. This deep cut was a hit amongst both fashion lovers and red-carpet enthusiasts, making it no surprise why the house decided on yet another see-through look for the star.
Burton’s runway collections have yet to feature any floral prints, but as of three days ago, the brand has been subtly soft-launching floral-printed shoes and cocoon coats—perhaps as a tease to Lawrence’s 2026 Golden Globes look, which is completed with a cocoon-like cape.
When Lawrence wears it, it’s bound to be a trend—sheer and floral resurgence incoming.
