It’s no secret that Jodie Comer can do no wrong in the acting world, but it seems she can’t put a foot wrong in the world of beauty either.

Her latest triumph? Pairing her classic jeans, tee, and oversized leather shirt ensemble with a blow dry that was borrowed from Cindy and the rest of the ’90s supermodel set. The Killing Eve actor, who most recently delivered an award-winning turn in the one-woman show Prima Facie on Broadway, chose the look at attend Gucci’s spring/summer 2024 show at Milan Fashion Week.

Despite the air of insouciance that made it feel as though no product or tool had touched her mane, Comer had called on the expertise of hairstylist Christian Wood to create the look. “We decided we wanted to do a big blowout,” says Wood. “Basically a salon blowout that’s been slept on, so it feels slightly more undone and effortless with subtle texture. The vibe is a cool girl blowout.”

In contrast to Comer’s innately modern style, Wood relied on some tried and tested techniques to master her effortless blow dry. “I [added] some old school velcro rollers after the drying process,” he explains. “Simply add the rollers to hair, spritz with hair spray, then leave for 30 mins to cool. Take out the rollers and spray in loads of dry texture spray to keep the volume, and give the effect of yesterday’s slightly more undone blow out.”

To get the look, try a hairspray like Moroccanoil s Luminous Hair Spray which comes in different hold levels, and Oribe s Dry Texturizing Spray is an A-list favorite for a reason.
