As much as we love Kate Middleton’s formalwear, she also looks flawlessly stylish in more casual outfits. One of her greatest style allies? Easy sneakers. She is loyal to several brands and models, including the white Superga—which stand out for their simplicity— and Nike and New Balance models for some of her sportier outfits.
If there’s one brand, however, that the princess wears time and time again, it’s Veja. Middleton regularly wears a pair adorned with a metallic logo and heel. She was recently seen wearing them paired with a white ribbed T-shirt, straight white midriff trousers, and a blazer with yellow shoulder pads, which gave the ensemble a pop.
That outfit formula has become the Princess of Wales’s off-duty signature. She wore a similar ensemble when she made a surprise appearance at the recent Big Lunch in Windsor, before the Coronation Concert which consisted of metallic Veja trainers, a white T-shirt, straight trousers (on that occasion in black), and a light blue blazer with the same silhouette, but this time with flaps on the pockets.
Astute royal-watchers may remember a similar outfit from one of Middleton’s appearances in February, when she wore slightly skinnier trousers, a long-sleeved T-shirt, and a tweed blazer with gold buttons. This perfect combination of basics, however, goes back even further. At an appearance at the Natural History Museum in London in 2021, she wore straight and somewhat faded Other Stories jeans, a white T-shirt, and a pink Chloé blazer. It’s a simple wardrobe formula that we expect may inspire many other outfits this season.
