Benji B has single-handedly revolutionized fashion’s relationship with music. The London-based producer worked with Phoebe Philo at Céline from 2015 to 2018—complementing and underscoring her collections’ thematic references with everything from ambient recordings made on the streets of Paris to “This Woman’s Work” by Kate Bush played on a loop—before joining Virgil Abloh for the entirety of his history-making tenure at Louis Vuitton.
Today, Benji collaborates with both Daniel Lee at Burberry and Luke and Lucie Meier at Jil Sander in between running his weekly Radio 1 show and hosting culture-defining club nights, and yet the music supervisor still cites Vogue World: London as “one of the most ambitious projects I’ve worked on.” “The DNA of the production highlights all of the contributions that the UK has made to global music, and vice versa. Sonically, it’s a glorious melting pot.”
