More than ever, a selfie serves as a sign of existence. At-home photoshoots double as an easy indoor endeavor and a means of achieving a sense of normalcy—and with the amount of time available to many of us, there s no need to choose one look, one photo, or even one hairstyle. Case in point: Lizzo s recent Instagram post, which showcased woven lengths worn two ways. (As Erykah Badu put it in the comments: “She cute.”)
First came a duet of low pigtails, baby braided roots bound below each ear before giving way to loose kinks. But one still selfie wasn t enough for the pop star, who followed up with a video capturing a set of space buns, the twinning knots twisted high on her head and punctuated by two coiled twists pulled to frame her face. "Pick ur pleasure. I like having braids," captioned Lizzo. "How’s your day?" Considering that she graced Instagram with a live beat making session last night—an undertaking which, along with meditation, has been helping the singer stay centered—it s safe to say that Lizzo s Wednesday was good as hell.
