It’s been a question we’ve long wondered about: How does an Olsen twin “do” a wedding? Is there a cutesy Instagram hashtag? (#EvenFullerHouse? #OneHalfHitched?) No, not quite. What about a paparazzi-controlled drone to give a bird’s-eye view of the ceremony? Nope. Or a bloated guest list? Not even close. In fact, the world at large may never know how an Olsen twin gets married, but we have an idea: This past Friday, Mary-Kate Olsen wed Olivier Sarkozy in the most Olsen way possible—quietly. As in very quietly. You could have heard an iPhone shutter snap. Or not: According to one outlet, guests at the intimate Manhattan ceremony were asked to turn in their cell phones before they entered the residence.
But who cares about that: What of the dress? While the no-technology policy leaves much to the imagination, several seasons of The Row’s distinguished brand of chic has left us feeling entirely able to piece together a fantasy mood board worthy of Olsen’s nuptials. Something we know about for certain, though, are the bridal party favors: Attendees reportedly enjoyed bottomless bowls of cigarettes to go with their champagne flutes. Ah! What it is to be in love. Here, see our mood board for Olsen’s wedding.
