It can be hard to make a bold statement amongst all the glamour at the Met Gala. But leave it to Michelle Williams to up the anté and really stand out. For this year’s festivities, the actor debuted a hot pink pixie cut adorned with a stunning jeweled headpiece for an ultra glam look.
Keeping the Barbiecore aesthetic alive and well, Williams’s pixie cut is a deep pink and rich in color. It provides a strike contrast to her soft and ethereal chiffon number and gives her overall look some edge that we can t help but love. She wears her short hair with a deep side part and tops it with a beaded headband for some added glamour.
Her makeup is relatively soft by comparison—and we’re not complaining at all. In theme with the pink do, she opts for a monochromatic look: soft baby pink lips and matching blush to define her cheeks and bring in some natural-looking color. A royal flush is just so lovely on and really ties everything in together. Her lids carry a subtle smokey shade to define her eyes. Simple and chic, this is a win and easily one of our favorite looks of the night.
