How does a young K-pop star spend a long weekend in the city? If you’re the nine members of NCT 127—the Seoul-based division of NCT, an ambitious musical project that loosely splits 18 performers between three different groups—it’s a non-stop whirlwind of meetings and fan greetings, with a few blissful moments reserved to see the sights.
Winwin, Jaehyun, Taeyong, Taeil, Haechan, Yuta, Mark, Doyoung, and Johnny arrived on Thursday to perform at KCon 2018 on Sunday night, and their dynamic five-song set at the Prudential Center literally moved many fans (affectionately called NCTzens) to tears. A quieter, but no less impactful show took place on the New York City streets, where the boys proudly showed off their growing fashion chops.
“Have to have style when you’re in NYC!” Jaehyun playfully explains, and from Taeyong’s Gucci logo belt and Balenciaga ball cap to Winwin’s well-fitted Saint Laurent ikat print top, that certainly was the case. Here, an exclusive photo diary from NCT 127’s trip.
