The days of racing between shows in Tribeca and Brooklyn—in a snowstorm, no less!—are temporarily over. As New York remains partially locked-down in response to COVID-19, New York Fashion Week is forging ahead with an entirely digital fall 2021 lineup.
Editors, buyers, and fashion fans will stream most of the collections from the comfort of their homes this season. NYFW is kicking off with Jason Wu’s live-streamed runway show on Valentine’s Day, followed by virtual presentations and videos from Markarian (the brand behind Dr. Jill Biden’s inauguration look) and a long-time Fashion Week highlight Imitation of Christ.
A day of menswear shows are next up on Monday before the schedule fills with more ready-to-wear collections—watch for Anna Sui, Adam Lippes, Collina Strada, Jonathan Simkhai, A Potts, and dozens more. The week draws to a close with none other than designer and CFDA chairman Tom Ford, who will also give the keynote speech at Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Summit on Feb 18.
That said, NYFW is shaping up to be a month-long event, with the likes of Carolina Herrera, Coach, and Christian Siriano showing in late February and Jonathan Cohen holding off until April.
Make sure to download the Vogue Runway app (or check for updates) and follow along on Instagram all week long. Scroll through the entire NYFW schedule below.
