On this final day of our NYFW Shark Week (phew, we did it), Chloe and Chioma spoke with British Vogue editor in chief Edward Enninful (newly anointed with an honorary doctorate) about the extraordinary night of theater and fashion that was Vogue World. They discussed the importance of funding the arts in London and the standout fashion moments of the night, including Stormzy and Sophie Okonedo in Vivienne Westwood and Sienna Miller (featuring her glowing baby bump) in Schiaparelli. Edward has been at the helm of British Vogue for some of its most remarkable covers, and they talked about a few of his favorites, as well as what is next for him.
In the second half of the episode, José Criales-Unzueta and Chioma talk to one of the most iconic pop stars of the moment, Olivia Rodrigo. Her sophomore album, Guts, came out exactly one week ago and it has already made a huge splash, tracking her maturity as a songwriter from her debut album, Sour. Olivia shares some of her songwriting influences, which unsurprisingly include confessional ’90s stars like Alanis Morissette, as well as her fashion influences (Chloë Sevigny, obviously).
