Last night, Angelenos followed the sunset to Venice, where West Coast–based jewelry designer Liseanne Frankfurt opened her store and, along with Vogue’s Lisa Love, hosted an intimate gathering of friends to celebrate Pamela Hanson and the release of her new book, Pamela Hanson: Private Room. Hanson brought together quite a mix of the best of Los Angeles, with Amber Valletta and Anjelica Huston mingling among designers, gallerists, and artists like Greg Chait, Shaun Caley Regen, Alex Israel, Honor Fraser, and Pamela Barish.
The crowd opted out of the typical Champagne toast for a more L.A. welcome, with glasses of Casa Dragones Blanco circling the room, served with a twist of grapefruit for the occasion. One could say it was the tequila or the onset of autumnal weather that continued the fete into the night—but it’s certain that it was Los Angeles’s love of Hanson.
