Spanish Women: A Contemporary Portrait of Strength and Beauty

This exhibition celebrates the remarkable results of PhotoVogue s inaugural Open Call in Spain done in collaboration with PHotoESPAÑA, the country s most prestigious photography festival. PhotoVogue and Vogue Spain called upon artists from around the globe to submit their works, defying conventional norms and presenting fresh visual narratives. A jury selected 13 artists from nearly 4,000 submissions from 475 talented artists. Each entry offered a distinct perspective, embodying the values of inclusivity and diversity that lie at the heart of PhotoVogue s essence.

"It has been an incredible journey to introduce such a captivating and inspiring project, PhotoVogue, to Spain, as part of our 35th-anniversary celebration. This endeavor, deeply aligned with the core values upheld by the Vogue brand on a global scale, has evolved into a distinctive celebration of our local creative community. It beautifully showcases our diverse perspective on beauty and underscores our unwavering dedication to nurturing emerging talents. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this new generation of Spanish image makers." - Inés Lorenzo, Head of Editorial Content, Vogue Spain
