The PhotoVogue Festival, the first conscious fashion photography festival that focuses on the common ground between ethics and aesthetics, returns for its eighth edition. From March 6th to 9th, 2025, BASE Milano will host a series of exhibitions and talks analysing the interrelation between humans and Nature, and the relations of kinship we can create with animals, complemented by satellite events at the city s finest galleries.

“Human Visions” by PHmuseum is part of The Tree of Change, a series of slideshows, videos, and contributions from organisations dedicated to environmental advocacy. The series includes also: “Vital Impacts – The Nature of Hope”,The Ghost Rainforest” by Earthrise Studio, “Metaphysics of Mixture” by Institute for Postnatural Studies, “The Essence of Prix Pictet”, “Wild Summon” “End Time Project” by Charlie Hamilton James ,“CondéFuture”, “Square Mile” by VII Foundation, “Latin American Fashion Awards”, “Nautilus Presents: Biodiversity: Though the Lens”.


Synopsis

Latin American Fashion Awards is an unprecedented global platform founded by fashion visionaires Constanza Cavalli Etro and Silvia Argüello to celebrate the most outstanding Latin American Talent in the world making an impactful difference in the fashion industry as a whole.

The long-awaited First Edition of Latin American Fashion Awards, held in the Dominican Republic on November 4th, 2023, marked a milestone for Latin American Creatives, succeeding in an astonishing 2.8 billion International Press Reach, +650 million Social Media Reach, 25 participating countries and significantly impacting the trajectory of each one of the Winners across 14 categories.

Latin American Fashion Awards Second Edition, to be held in November 2025, will feature a grand Award Ceremony and three days of festivities. The celebration will reunite top-tier fashion industry leaders, celebrities, prestigious international jury members, international press, influencers and creatives to honor Latin American talent revolutionizing the global fashion industry.

The unparalleled biennial celebration spans two years of prominent international events in the highest international spheres.

Latin American Fashion Awards is proud to introduce the winners of Fashion Photographer of the Year, Camila Falquez; Emerging Fashion Photographer of the Year, Elliot Erick; and Fashion Film of the Year: Divina by Ode Hilaire.

About the founders

Constanza Cavalli Etro
President Creative Director

Recognised as “one of the most influential women in Italy” by Forbes Italia in 2020, Constanza is a distinguished Argentine entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the fashion industry, fostering young talent, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. She was Mexico Fashion Week’s Fashion Director before moving to Milan.

Constanza is widely recognised for creating the prestigious Fashion Film Festival Milano featuring fashion Icons like Franca Sozzani, Giorgio Armani, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Luca Guadagnino, Cass Bird, Nadia Lee Cohen, Rankin, Bruno Aveillan, among others. Constanza is a Member of the Board of the "Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana Fashion Trust" and the “CFDA Fashion Awards Guild “ as well as juror at “Black Carpet Awards“ and “Global Photo Vogue“.

Silvia Argüello
CEO Creative Director

The designer of Cuban-Nicaraguan descent, with over 25 years experience in the fashion industry between Paris and Milan, worked with famous designers such as Emanuel Ungaro and Giambattista Valli before launching her own fashion brand Rosa Clandestino.

Silvia has received numerous prestigious awards for her fashion and social projects. Amongst others, Vogue Italia’s renowned “Who’s on Next” Award; United Nations “Fashion Freedom for Africa” project for the Emancipation of African Women in Kenya; “Pelle Italiana” exhibit in the Famous Triennale Design Museum of Milan and “The World of Alcantara” in the city of Los Angeles.

After 25 years in the industry and a long friendship, Constanza and Silvia founded Latin American Fashion Awards in 2019.
