Femxphotographers.org is a non-hierarchical collective of womxn and non-binary artists committed to increasing the visibility of women and non-binary photographers. The collective exists to counter structural exclusion within the photographic field and to create space for voices that have been historically marginalised. It operates without hierarchy and is guided by care, accountability, and shared responsibility.

Its work is inherently political. Making women and non-binary photographers visible means actively questioning and challenging patriarchal systems that shape cultural production and perpetuate inequality, exclusion, and violence. The collective understands visibility as a form of resistance and solidarity. Visibility is political. Solidarity is practice. Care is resistance.
