Vampy thigh-high boots are probably not the most obvious choice for one’s morning commute, but leave it to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to make the sexy footwear style her everyday staple (sneakers? No thank you). The model, actress, and style savant has been spotted out on multiple occasions wearing Sergio Rossi’s suede over-the-knee Matrix boot—which are stretchy and fitted to the leg—and each time she’s worn them, she’s offered a dramatically different way of styling them. From casual daywear to going out at night, call these her shape-shifter shoes.

Earlier this week, Huntington-Whiteley was seen wearing her trustee boots with a statement leopard coat from Attico (and her go-to Gucci fanny pack). It’s not the first time she’s worn her thigh-highs with a fur either—earlier this month, she also styled them with a shaggy fur coat and polka dot dress to hit the town. While she’s proven she can easily dress up the boots, Huntington-Whiteley also served up a lesson on how to do the casual thigh-high for daytime. In February, she wore the boots with a gingham overcoat, turtleneck, and patent skirt, a look that was both polished and professional. Considering its versatility, the thigh-high may just be the shoe silhouette of the season.
