While she went all in on darker colors this season, Gomez flipped the script for the 97th Academy Awards in a blush hue. The off-the-shoulder dress was embellished with over 16,000 glass droplets and Rosemont crystals—affixed by hand by 12 skilled artisans. Adding a touch of color to the dress, the Ralph Lauren team airbrushed the glass drops to create a pink ombré finish. She brought the bling with her Bvlgari too, wearing a platinum collar necklace with a 10-carat pear-cut diamond drop pendant, alongside diamond earrings and a handful of rings.
Gomez has turned to the American designer multiple times in recent months. For the 2024 Emmys, she celebrated her first nomination for her role in Only Murders in the Building in a black silk velvet halter dress with a pavé neckline. At the Governors Awards in November, she wore a high-neck black sequin-covered dress with a white collar and cuffs for a menswear spin. She stuck to mens-inspired tailoring at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in a white three-piece suit. At the 2025 Oscars, Gomez and Ralph Lauren once again reminded us why they’re a match made in red carpet heaven.
At the Vanity Fait after-party, Gomez continued to shine in a strapless midnight blue Giorgio Armani Privé column dress. She amped up the sequin-covered sweetheart gown with her jewelry, adding a high-neck Bvlgari High Jewelry choker, earrings, and rings.
