Solid Striped has a brand new look, thanks to Sofia Richie Grainge. The 25-year-old not only helped the brand with a redesigned logo, but also played a major role in the creative direction behind the latest collection launch.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Sofia Richie Grainge on this extraordinary new line,” says Chris Burch, majority owner of Solid Striped. “Her ability to constantly have her finger on the cultural pulse combined with our team’s creativity and execution ensures delivering on all expectations for the Solid Striped customer.”
The pared-back influence of Richie Grainge’s love for minimalism is instantly noticeable. You won’t find any rainbow stripes here—just elegant neutrals with subtle pops of color throughout that’s a true reflection of Richie Grainge’s personal style.
The campaign unites Richie Grainge’s California sense of ease with her interest in Art Nouveau. Each model was handpicked by Richie Grainge and can be seen posing at various locations chosen by the expectant mother, from a rocky shoreline to a cliff in Montecito overlooking the city.
In the same vein, the clothes echo Richie Grainge’s taste. Think elegant dresses in sharp contrasting black-and-white hues and funnel neck blouses with coordinating trousers, which are perfect for planning sophisticated vacation outfits. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Solid Striped collection without some swimsuits. Throughout the collection you’ll find a mix of one pieces that come in playful prints in neutral shades as well as elevated cover-ups that include crochet shorts and knit dresses.
