Midway through New York Fashion Week, it’s clear the streets are divided into two equally chic camps: those who gamely suit up to do battle with all that the polar vortex has thrown our way (duly tucking hair into voluminous scarves, donning a citrus-bright Shrimps fake fur, pairing a hijab with leather overalls), and those who choose to ignore it, optimistically letting their hemlines rise and a little bare leg show through.
