Call it the moment—or the months—of truth. It’s the September to Remember, and October too, with no fewer than 12 spring 2026 runway debuts between the first day of Milan and the last of Paris. We’ll be keeping you up-to-date in real time with instant photos from the catwalks and our reviews. But we’re also watching how the industry and the internet react. Our new designer leaderboard tracks visitors to Vogue, Google searches, social engagements, and data from The RealReal. Who’s winning in this season of debuts? The numbers tell the story.
Monday, October 6: Balenciaga still basking in post-debut glow. Chanel rising ahead of Matthieu Blazy’s debut.
Saturday, October 4: A big jump for Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Balenciaga, with an assist from Meghan Markle.
Friday, October 3: Loewe had a big day with Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s debut.
Thursday, October 2: Dior continues to trend across all data points. Searches for the brand on The RealReal jump, as does its social engagement.
Wednesday, October 1: A big jump in traffic to Dior, with Jonathan Anderson’s womenswear debut on the schedule.
Tuesday, September 30: Gucci posted this IG and it received over 1 million likes. Bottega Veneta led Vogue traffic, advancing against both Gucci and Chanel. Search interest in Balenciaga is rising. Maybe it’s the newsstand ads popping up all over Paris…?
Sunday, September 28: Following Louise Trotter’s first outing as creative director, Bottega Veneta saw a big jump in Vogue traffic. Despite all the debuts this week in Paris, social accounts were surprisingly quiet over the weekend. Balenciaga is rising on Google.
Friday, September 26: In anticipation of Dario Vitale’s debut, Versace posted a trio of Tyrone Lebon-lensed images to its Instagram that got people talking, as the ranking in the designer leaderboard reflects.
Thursday, September 25: Interest in Christian Dior is spiking on The RealReal; Jonathan Anderson’s women’s debut at the house is less than a week away. On the heels of Simone Bellotti’s first outing at Jil Sander, the brand’s social engagements were up yesterday. And Gucci is still holding strong.
Wednesday, September 24: Gucci is still going strong, thanks to its rollout of its Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn-directed short film “The Tiger.” Loewe makes moves, with the help of its new social campaign.
Tuesday, September 23: With Gucci posting every one of the 38 looks from its Demna-blessed spring collection yesterday (a day before we all expected to see them), the Italian brand established a significant advantage.
