Each season, when we’re back at our desks after 28 consecutive days covering runways shows, the first thing we do is look at the data. There’s truth in numbers, so herewith some real—not fake—news.

Indisputably, Gucci’s Alessandro Michele is fashion’s majordomo of the moment. With nearly 6.2 million page views, he’s got his nearest competition beat by 2 million clicks, give or take. Also: Prada and Balmain are back on the upswing after one- and two-season absences from the list, respectively. We could chalk that up to the way the former spoke to the concerns of the #MeToo moment, and how the latter wooed the Snapchat set with a We Are the New Generation tee. Or it could simply be Miuccia Prada and Olivier Rousteing’s mutual embrace of electric color and high shine. Lastly, Calvin Klein and Versace, who came in at 9 and 3 last time, were both knocked off the list. The message here? You don’t like popcorn, but you do like your supermodels. A lot. (Last season’s Versace show, if you’ll recall, starred Cindy, Naomi, and Claudia et al.) Well, to each her own. Both Calvin Klein and Versace made Vogue Runway’s best collections countdown.
