If there’s something we’ve learned about our Vogue Runway community this year, it’s that you love nothing more than a scroll-stopping runway moment. Your feeds and explore pages are full of fashion’s biggest events and its main characters. And from Versace’s next-gen supermodel finale to Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton takeover at the Met Gala, we brought you with us to every show and fashion night out this year.
In 2022, social media helped us commemorate and remember the fashion lives we lost. Whether that was through an emotional runway finale video honoring Issey Miyake, or watching some of Virgil Abloh’s closest friends strut in the last collection he designed for Off-White, we mourned and honored as a community. But our platforms also helped us celebrate new talent, with both Sergio Hudson’s spring 2023 show at New York Fashion Week and Bella Hadid’s spray-on dress at Coperni in Paris making our list.
