The endless creative director appointments and exits, the redefining of the supply chain, the ever-evolving tariff story and near-constant updates on the sustainability and DEI policies of many companies... If the stories we have been covering at Vogue Business recently can tell us anything, it’s that fashion and luxury are in a state of transition.

What does the industry’s future look like? To figure it out, on 27 and 28 May, we held the inaugural Vogue Business Global Summit at the beautiful Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy. Around 180 industry stakeholders gathered for a series of keynotes from the likes of former Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri, who talked growth, as well as a candid conversation between Vogue Runway and Vogue Business director Nicole Phelps, deputy CEO of Bvlgari Laura Burdese and Bvlgari creative director Mary Katrantzou on the role of the creative director in fashion today. Panellists included Toteme CEO Johanna Sjöberg, Golden Goose CEO Silvio Campara and Colette founder Sarah Andelman, who spoke on the redefining of the luxury map, the future of shopping and the relationship between art and commerce, respectively.
