Today, we are thrilled to announce that the PhotoVogue Festival returns for its 10th edition, taking place from March 1 to 4, 2026. This important anniversary will be celebrated during Milan Fashion Week at one of the city’s most significant historical libraries, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense.
A place of great significance not only for Milan but also on a global scale, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense holds particular relevance to this year’s festival theme: a space that nurtures and safeguards knowledge in all its complexity, at a time when multiplicity and diversity are increasingly under attack. This year’s PhotoVogue Festival, Women by Women, celebrates the multifaceted ways in which women express and imagine themselves, while challenging the assumption that women’s rights, visibility, and recognition are guaranteed.
Featuring a rich program of exhibitions, panels, presentations, and digital showcases, the festival creates a place of encounter in which women’s stories are seen and valued, where representation becomes a site of power and resistance. Moving beyond the constricting binary of the Male and Female Gazes, PhotoVogue aims to reflect the fluidity and complexity of women’s lived experiences.
The PhotoVogue Festival also coincides with the launch of the March issue of Vogue Italia, which, for the occasion, dedicates significant editorial space to the Women by Women theme, extending the festival’s conversations across print, digital, and cultural platforms.
The PhotoVogue Festival 2026 is organized in collaboration with the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, and is under the patronage of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
