Akili King

Akili King is a graduate of the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, where she focused on Creative Writing, Africana Studies, and Journalism, along with a French Minor. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, where she is a columnist for Vogue and The Cut and senior beauty editor at Essence magazine.
