Working with a more subdued palette than usual ("Everyone thinks of me as the color person!" Miller joked backstage), the designer experimented with lacquered fabrics that yielded standout faux-leather and velour biker jackets. In an era in which Michelle Obama moves more clothing than an Olsen twin, Miller s sophisticated-but-fun wares feel just right.
