"It s about uncomplicated year-round dressing," she said of the collection. "Buy now, wear the silk pants now with flat sandals in Florida, then just toss a blazer on in the winter."
Pared-down pieces like a narrow pencil skirt cut from soft, blush-colored lambskin or a semi-sheer blouse with leather trim exemplify the designer s approach. Straightforward, yes, but never severe. The nude dress with a sheer V-neck panel and scattered gold sequins is party-ready on its own, if much cooler with its removable collar attached. We ve seen similar looks from the label before, but, as Smilovic pointed out, "At some point you d be an idiot not to redo what sells."
