Yesterday, we watched Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez show their joyous and bright new vision for Loewe, and tomorrow we will see Duran Lantink unveil his new Jean Paul Gaultier; but right now it’s time for Pierpaolo Piccioli to show us his take on Balenciaga. In a recent interview with Sarah Mower, Piccioli stated, “I think that respecting who was here before me—embracing the work of Cristóbal, Demna, Nicolas [Ghesquière]—is cooler, and more revolutionary than to deny what’s been before you arrive.” We’ll be watching!
