Viridiana is a photographer based in Mexico City. Her photography approach creates intimate spaces to connect with her subjects, offering a glimpse into their bonds and life experiences. She explores self-perception collaboratively, questioning her ways of thinking and feeling, embarking on a cathartic visual voyage of self-discovery.

After earning a bachelor's degree in arts and design, she pursued further studies in Madrid, achieving a Master’s in Photography. In 2016, she became a new talent for Harper's Bazaar, propelling her into the world of fashion which kick started her career in fashion, printing editorial work in local publications such as Vogue, ELLE, and L’Officiel at the country. . Later, she took on the role of photo editor at MarieClaire Mexico, working in cities such as Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, and New York.

In 2022, Viridiana was recognized as one of The Next Great Fashion Image Makers by Photo Vogue (Vogue Italia). The following year, she participated in Photo Vogue and Voice NFT Residency. Her work was exhibited in Munich at "Past & Present" (Deir Greif) in the same year. In 2024, during Mexico City's art week, she presented "Ecdysis," a collaborative photo and video installation and in the same year her project “Comala” was selected to be part of the exhibition Panorama Latino Americano (2025) in Photo Vogue Contest.

Currently, Viridiana is engrossed in her personal photo series: : “The body we inhabit”, exploring the intersection of her personal and commissioned photography. This journey sparks a deep fascination with the concept of identity.
