Claudia Amatruda

Claudia Amatruda (1995, Foggia, Italy) attends the Master on Photographic Project(2017-2018) with the teacher Michele Palazzi at the school "Meshroom Pescara" and currently follows the degree course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Foggia, address Graphic Design.
In 2015 she won a scholarship and an exhibition at the Teatro San Carlo Foundation in Modena and in 2016 she created a permanent personal exhibition at the University of Foggia.
Her photographic research has been completely upset by the awareness of a disease that has just broken into her life, and finds in the use of the self-portrait and in the photographic description of the environments in which he lives, the possibility of redemption.
A long-term work that produced in 2018, with the help of a crowfounding campaign and curated by Fiorenza Pinna, the production of 'Naiade', a self publishing with a circulation of a thousand copies, presented for the first time within the UNFOLD_Pescara shows, and then in 2018 'Naiade' is present at the Funzilla Fest 2018 - Rome.
In 2019 she presented the photographic book in the schools of photography in Bari, Rome, Lecce and Pescara.
She exhibited in collective exhibitions in Naples, Rome and Foggia.
Now she prefers photography as a story telling tool starting from a new awareness.
