This year’s Independent Spirit Awards saw Saturday Night Live alum Aidy Bryant hosting, joined by presenters Greta Lee, Colman Domingo, Emma Corrin and Jude Law. Thanks to its beachside location in Santa Monica—as well as the inclusion of gender-neutral acting categories for the second year running—the Indies remain the laid-back, cool counterpart to the Oscars.
