Ana de Armas may be a Golden Globes newcomer, but for the awards show’s 2020 red carpet, the Knives Out ingenue and Best Actress nominee looked every bit the seasoned star in a sparkling strapless Ralph Russo gown, chosen by veteran Hollywood stylist Karla Welch, and a classic red lip.
To achieve the picture-perfect pout, de Armas called upon French makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis, who prepped the Cuban actress’s complexion with Armani’s Luminous Silk Primer for a lit-from-within finish, before turning to the house’s brilliant crimson liner and liquid lipstick. The finishing touch came courtesy of a textured, twisted ponytail at the hands of hairstylist Mara Roszak, and a fistful of Tiffany and Co.’s sapphire and diamond bijoux. All in all, a graceful and glamorous debut for this leading lady.
Here, a behind-the-scenes look at how Ana de Armas got ready for the Golden Globes.
