Beauty Marks: The Best Beauty Looks of The Week
Welcome back to Beauty Marks: Vogue’s weekly edition of the best moments in celebrity beauty, from Vogue editors’ IG feeds, and all the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. Each week, we curate the nail art to pin for your next nail appointment, new recruits to ‘Team Bob’, and major red carpet moments from the week’s most glamorous affairs. As always, it’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’re about to see everywhere.
This week, celebrity beauty revelled in pretty summer colors. Keke Palmer kept up her bombshell aesthetic with added Studio 54-esque pastel lids, while Lisa touched down in L.A. with a butter yellow French manicure. (As always, with a subversive Lisa twist, with gold studs across her nails). Kacey Musgraves and Julia Garner were also fans of the iced out eye. More on nails: San Sung Kim painted some sweet magnolia flowers on a cornflower beauty expanse, while Zola Ganzorigt and Amy Le joined forces to create a nail that hit as many trends as possible: a strawberry glazed polka-dot manicure. In contrast, Lady Gaga leaned more into her goth glam rock era—the raven-colored pin curled bob is still holding strong—while Alison Brie stayed devoted to the timeless, transeasonal velvet red lip.

Keke Palmer has long been enjoying her bombshell era—this week, makeup artist Kenya Alexis made things pretty and pastel, with a lilac gradient eye, bold lashes, and a two-toned lip combo reminiscent of ’80s disco dancefloors. Kira Dior matched the glam with undulating, Diana Ross-esque auburn waves.

When in L.A.: Glen Oropeza—who you’ll often find working with the likes of Sydney Sweeney too—gave Lisa some easy, breezy Cali girl hair, keeping her full set of bangs in perfect place. MUA Woosun did a soft winged eye and a touch-of-pink glossy lip. On Lisa’s nails, a butter yellow French mani with gold studs.

That’s a wrap on the GUTS world tour. Rodrigo’s touring makeup artist Karissa O’Hanlon dropped a round-up of some of her best beauty looks across the mammoth international tour. Some fiery red and ’90s taupe lips, and a staple cat-eye slick.

Hair and makeup artist Jaime Diaz, who has worked with Chappell Roan and Lola Young, shared a recent shoot with muse and Paris-based model Safia channeling a young Sophia Loren. Linda Ha crafted some curls pinned close to the forehead, the rest flowing out beneath a glossy blue headscarf. Diaz created an icy blue eye with dramatic eyeliner traveling from below the waterline to create an elegant, elongated affect, and a caramel-lined, blush pink lip. The cheek highlight was silver screen worthy.
