Given the absence of a red carpet at this year s Golden Globes, this evening s SAG Awards 2022 doubled as a kick-off for a long-awaited in-person awards season—and attendees turned out as such. 

Squid Games nominee Hoyeon Jung opted for a low braid primed to spur a springtime trend, her easy tie-back finished in a ribbon matched to her bejeweled and buttoned Louis Vuitton—the brand s own interpretation of a daenggi. Sandra Oh s silver shadow solidified the case for Y2K metallics, while Kerry Washington s berry lip proved the power of a subtly separated shade of liner. Emilia Jones s glossy and banged brunette, copper shadow, brushed-up brows, and nudish-rose lip offered an ode to a perfectly honed palette, while Lady Gaga s sculptural blonde was brightened by a wash of white at lid level. And midi plaited pigtails were given an event-worthy revival by King Richard s Demi Singleton, who transformed the schoolyard style into something altogether glamorous.
